Plokar Free analyzes a Windows PC in real time to identify unnecessary background activity and inefficient resource use. Its goal is to preserve performance while reducing wasted work.
Safe CPU priority and affinity adjustments, before-and-after measurement, and automatic rollback are the planned optimization path. The current test stage focuses on monitoring; control remains off until verified on Windows hardware.
Plokar observes available CPU, GPU, memory, and background-activity metrics in real time. Temperature is shown only where a reliable sensor is available.
It looks for patterns that may indicate unnecessary background compute or inefficient scheduling. Monitoring is the current test focus.
The planned control engine can adjust user-process priority and CPU affinity only within predefined safety limits. The active foreground application is protected.
Automatic control is not enabled in the current Windows test build.
The intended workflow compares technical readings before and after an action. A change is kept only when measurements support it without harming responsiveness.
If results are worse or uncertain, the planned safety engine restores the original settings. No temperature reduction is claimed without actual sensor data.
Technical success and failure results can inform future decisions. Free is intended to use a shared optimization policy rather than a deeply personalized model.
